Cookies & Page tracking (12th Dec 2011)

I've introduced basic cookie functionality onto the website to help me track how the search engines move around the website. Its also a prerequisite for user accounts so you can add and manage your own family tree pages.

Change of hosting service (26th April 2011)

The site is now hosted with a www.prominic.net, I switched to them from the Domino Developer network because of a series of serious support issues. The new hosting service also offers more capability for progressing my other Web development projects at a reduced cost which is always welcome.

Google Search added (12th Feb 2011)

Somewhere along the line the Google search box vanished but has now been restored, I don't however have any influence on how often Google indexes the site so changes to pages may not be reflected in Google search results for up to a month.

Lillian Broxholme (10th Feb 2011)

Thanks to Tim Hagan and the Wallwork's family history research we have Lillians mother and grandparents and a couple more generations in outline. You can now see Lillian Broxholme as a descendant of Edward Broxholme (abt 1780), a number of the names in this extended tree are familiar and I'm fairly confidant that they can be integrated into one of the main trees as I bring the family database online which will make finding names much easier.

Clara Ann Broxholme (7th May 2008)

Added small fragment provided by Karen Bishop who has sent in details of her Grandmother Clara Ann Broxholme and her father John, this all started after Jayne Broxholme posted a request for information about Douglas Anthony Broxholme of Derby.

William Broxholme of Wragby (7th April 2008)

Added the father, mother and six siblings of William Broxholme of Wragby which takes it back to 1797, page renamed to reflect this. The research was by Chris Boulby and confirmed by Chris Brocksom who recently made contact.

Hildred Broxholme Probert (1st March 2008)

Added a small family fragment after an email from Alan Probert, his Grandfather Hildred Broxholme Probert who travelled to New York from Liverpool in 1908. Is he a descendant of a Broxholme??

Lydia Broxholme (1849) (29th December 2007)

A very welcome update to my own family tree as we now have a family for Lydia Broxholme (1849) one of the many children of Robert Broxholme & Mary Brant, It was provided by Amanda McAndrew.

Audrey Hepworth (Broxholme) (17th November 2007)

Audrey Hepworth (Broxholme) has contacted me with additional information on her father & grandfather. This has allowed to smaller family trees to be connected and some firm dates to be added.

Jonathan Broxholme (Actor) (21st September 2007)

Added local searching of the site using Google search engine and an entry for Jonathan Broxholme, an actor with the New Shakespeare company in 1994.
